I founded One Night Records with Ed Caldecott and Tommy Hare in late 2019.

One Night Records delivered popular live music in a richly designed visual and theatrical environment, alongside first class food and drink.

After a pandemic-themed smash hit ‘Lockdown Town’, this world-first immersive music event and venue returned in 2021 to present a new show featuring six iconic eras in twentieth century music.

We ran our 38,000 square ft venue in SE1 at an operating profit in 2020, which for a live music business ain’t bad, and we were nominated for two Offie Awards. We also won the ‘Best Covid Safe Music Event’ from the prestigious UK Event Production Awards.

Featuring an ever changing lineup of the country’s best unknown musicians, we welcomed audiences between October and December 2020 for our opening season of ‘Lockdown Town’, and we relaunched with a new show called ‘Snake Oil’ later in 2021, capping off the year with a Christmas season.

We returned in 2022, showcasing better than ever artistry and immersive musicianship. The covid cloud was just too heavy to escape, and having weathered the worst of the storm we shut the venue in June 2022. Wild times. Hell of a Covid story.
